Vinny Mraz

VINNY MRAZ is a recent graduate of Emerson College in Boston, with a degree in Theater Education. He spent time teaching at Wellesley High School, instructing students in Laban Terminology, Alexander Technique and Viewpoints as well as improvisation. He directed a production of “Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind” by the Neo-Futurists at Wellesley. At Emerson he was the host of a late-night format style talk show on the Emerson Channel called “Closing Time with Vinny Mraz” for which he won an Evvy Award for “Outstanding Television Personality.” Most recently he directed a production of Susan Zeder’s “Wiley and the Hairy Man” with Kidding Around, a Theater For Young Audience troupe on Emerson’s campus. He has written several plays, including “Perfect on Paper” which was included in Slant of Light’s New Play Reading Series last February. He currently lives in Chicago and works at The Second City.
