JIM DIMUNNO who is exceedingly grateful for the support of his wife, Rose Lamoureux, is a professional actor working in the New England/NYC area. His most recent work is in an off-off Broadway production of Woyzeck, where he appears as “the Captain”. Prior to that; he had the privilege of working in a Boston production of a great Shakespearean work, Julius Caesar, in which he had the role of“Caesar”. Before that; he was seen at the acclaimed Tennessee Williams Theater Festival, in Provincetown, Mass., as the notorious “Jabe Torrance”, in Orpheus Descending. This past summer, he entertained audiences at The Winnipesaukee Playhouse, in New Hampshire, where he demonstrated his broad character range in productions of Blithe SpiritDr. Cook’s Garden, andCrossing Delancy. Recent film projects have included: One AfternoonThe Illuminati Brothers. Other recent work of note: as “Norman”, in The Session, at The Manhattan Repertory Theatre; as “Schuyler”, in Soccer Moms From Hell, at New Haven Theater Company; and, as “Lt. Schrank”, in The Courthouse Center’s production of West Side Story. Select past roles from 15 years of rich stage experience have included “Jean”, in Miss Julie; “Stanley”, inDeath of a Salesman;  “Louie”, in Lost in Yonkers; as “Andre”, in Red Herring; “Dr. Prentice”, in What The Butler Saw; “Mr. Klemper”, in The Boys Next Door; “Leonard Vole”, in Witness for the Prosecution; and “Dr. Block”, in (winner of numerous film festival awards), and Psychopathia Sexualis. Jim also directed our New Play Reading Series’ staged reading production of The Yellow House, Nine Turbulent Weeks at Arles.
