Bryna Kearney

BRYNA KEARNEY graduated from Phillips Academy Andover in 2001 with a strong focus on theater and dance, and went to accept a scholarship to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in Experimental Theater Wing. In addition to her involvement with Slant of Light, Bryna has worked at Renbrook Summer Adventure as the director of their Senior Theater Program. She was the dance captain for Playhouse on the Green’s 2009 production of The Wiz. She joined the CT Cabaret for their 2009-2010 Season as a featured dancer in Pippin andstarred in their production of the off-broadway hit Forbidden Broadway. This fall she will perform with PAC Shows as part of their new troupe, The Soundlings. She also has supporting roles in two original films (currently in production) that will be submitted to festivals later this year. Bryna’s unique blend of talents both on stage and behind the scenes have opened the doors for her to work on a wide range of exciting projects. From creating a piece performed at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland, to dancing live on stage with Bobby McFerrin, to writing and singing vocals for her husband’s original music she constantly seeks out opportunities that encourage her growth as an artist.
